Welcome to SailTime New York

SailTime new York is located at Chelsea Piers marina, in the heart of Manhattan.

You don't have to drive your car for an hour or more in heavy traffic to enjoy your boat any more. You're only a subway stop or a taxi ride away.

Join SailTime and the happy few who can say they have a boat at Chelsea Piers.

We offer memberships and charters on both sail and powerboats.

Our season will start between April 1st and 15th, depending on the weather.

Confirmed members will have access and will be able to make reservations to the 2012 calendar on April 1st.

A one hour Captained Cruise of New York Harbor starts at only $325 for up to 6 passengers.

SailTime New York also offers a fleet of sailboats from 33' to 41' available for bareboat charter with an approved sailing resume.

Learn to boat safely with sailTime!

Learn to sail or use your power boat safely with SailTime New York.

Join one of our scheduled sailing courses or reserve your own private training (sail or power boats)

Private training - $85 per hour (plus cost of charter). Contact us for more information on programs available. Add a friend or a spouse to your private training for free.

Scheduled ASA lessons - As an American Sailing Association affiliate, SailTime New York offers regular course during the season.

2012 Schedule:

Basic Coastal Cruising (ASA 103) - $625

Prerequisite: ASA101, or skills and knowledge to pass challenge exam.

Classes begin Tuesday and Wednesday, 9am-5pm, taught aboard our fully-equipped Hunter 33' sloop.

May 15 & 16; June 12 & 13;

July 10 & 11; Aug 14 & 15; Sept 11 & 12;

October 2 & 3

Bareboat Charter (ASA 104) - $925

Prerequisite: ASA103 or skills and knowledge to pass challenge exam.

Classes begin Tuesday with a destination sail, dining and sleeping aboard, returning to port by Wednesday 5pm. Enjoy 41' of cruising luxury!
