• Detail your sailboat on a weekly basis and keep all the systems operating like new. When you step on board, she's ready and waiting to go.
• Ensure our Owner/Members will be able to enjoy their boat as it fits into their schedule; for a half day, full day, weekend or even up to a full week.

SailTime helps you through the process of purchasing and outfitting a brand new sailboat. We work with you in reviewing the specs of your boat amongst the world class outfitting packages that come with every SailTime boat...no detail is overlooked. You then place your new yacht in SailTime's local base's professional management program and enjoy worry-free sailing in your local waterways.

SailTime's local base will place only well trained, responsible sailors on your yacht to share time in our Fractional Sailing program.

In the SailTime program, a well trained SailTime member will be the only one on your yacht, and your yacht's condition will be maintained in tip-top shape due to this reality in addition to our first class maintenance program. Our proprietary tools, like our specialized Online Scheduler have been developed specifically to provide easy, accountable and equitable sharing for you and the other Members sharing your boat.

With SailTime, ownership of a new sailboat in your local waters is a reality!  You'll still get to sail or cruise virtually as often as you want, when you want, using the flexibility of our Online Scheduler.

Purchasing a boat for use in the SailTime Fractional Sailing Owner program is the fiscally intelligent and practical choice for many potential boat owners. There are many advantages to this type of sailboat ownership allowing benefits from both a practical use and an economical standpoint.

Because SailTime's local base takes care of all of the day-to-day operational realities of sailboat ownership, you have nothing to worry about except when you want to go sailing and who you wish to take with you! We've been awarded "Most Outstanding Sailing School" on the West Coast in 2007, 2008 and 2009. Each year we give sailing lessons to dozens of people in some of the best sailing grounds the West Coast has to offer. SailTime is the perfect way to enjoy the Southern California sailing lifestyle without any of the hassle of boat ownership. Gaining a solid education from our Certified Instructors will give you the confidence and skills you need to command your SailTime yacht in our local waters. Are you an "old salt" with all sorts of experience but no certifications? No worries! Our affordable half-day "Old Salt Check-Out" lets you challenge the ASA tests easily and get those certs for $195 + ASA fees. Note: If you join SailTime this is included with your Membership at no additional cost.

*Please note: SailTime Channel Islands Members must have ASA 101 & 103 to bareboat sail the SailTime boats. Go from novice to Captain with our ASA Sailing School along with additional skill building clinics and flotillas for members. Additionally, we require you be certified to 104 before you embark on any overnight trips to the islands. But that is what we are all about; learning and gaining knowledge, skills and confidence only comes from practice and going out sailing regularly. Our affordable membership program makes that a reality! In addition, all of our sailing lessons can be set up to be private and built around your schedule. The only exception is ASA 105 which is a classroom event held at different times throughout the year.

Groupon Voucher holders: Please check calendar for availability and choose three dates that will work for you. Click on the individual events for more information. Please note that the sails will only be going on the days that are labeled "Groupon Sail" and will run from approximately 9:30am-1pm. Sails will be aboard our Hunter 216 in and around Channel Islands Harbor. If weather and sea conditions permit, and should you wish, the skipper can extend the sail beyond the harbor into open water. *All sails are subject to weather rescheduling.

Please Email us and include: the three dates that will work for you (in order of choice), your name and Groupon number, and your e-mail address.  We will attempt to place you on your first choice sail, but spots will fill up quickly. Sails will be comprised of one Groupon "group" per day. Once we have you on the schedule we will e-mail you to confirm. SailTime Channel Islands is located on Dock C in Vintage Marina at the Channel Islands Harbor which is conveniently located near the 101 in Oxnard.

Set your GPS for 2950 Harbor Blvd, Oxnard, CA 93035 - Coming from the North or the South get off at the Victoria Avenue exit in Oxnard and head south towards the harbors and beaches. After approximately 9 miles, turn right onto Channel Islands Blvd. After the first light, get in the left lane and go over the bridge. As you do, get in the far left lane and turn left onto Harbor Blvd at the light. We are the second driveway on the left, marked Vintage Marina. Dock C is located adjacent to the building that houses Duffy Electric Boats.

Located about 1 hour north of greater Los Angeles, you immediately feel a sense of getting away to a coastal resort. Great dining and shopping abound in nearby Ventura. In the harbor itself, you will find a variety of restaurants and services. 

We have Members who come from throughout the San Joaquin Valley and Central California, all of Ventura County, Bakersfield, San Bernadino, Hollywood... even Las Vegas and Phoenix. It's a great mix of people, some who come for an extended visit once a month and some who are local sailors who go for frequent afternoon sails.
