Meet the Chicago Base Owner
Our own experiences learning to sail, then finding, purchasing and maintaining "the right boat" led us to look for a better way to enjoy life. SailTime is that better way. We provide experienced trainers that will guide you through your desired ASA Certification level: Basic Keelboat to Bareboat Chartering. Our fleets of new Hunter sailboats are located in Burnham Harbor (next to Soldier Field) in Chicago and in Winthrop Harbor, near the Wisconsin border. Winthrop Harbor has proven to be a great location for those new to boating, and we recommend them highly.
Our locations have been selected because they each offer unique and wonderful opportunities for boating, not to mention incredible views and events. Party at the dock, or take your family or friends out on the lake, and drop anchor for lunch, cocktails, sunning, and swimming. Be part of the fleet on any of the local Venetian Nights and Fourth of July celebrations. Enjoy Chicago's Air and Water Show.
