Meet the Channel Islands Base Owner
Lets go sailing in Southern California, out of the Channel Islands Harbor! I've sailed my whole life, starting with a Sunfish as a kid. I graduated to laser racing and then got bitten bad by the windsurfing bug for many years. In my early twenties, I got the opportunity to crew on a large yacht at Antigua race week and helped deliver the boat back to the USA afterwards. Upon my return from that experience, I swore that big boat sailing was the way to go !
With this SailTime program, all we do is sail, sail, sail ! We currently have five yachts in our fleet here which includes two 33ft models and three 36ft models. Our newest boat, 1421, is a 2008 Hunter 36 which began member sailing in January 08. Now is a great time to get started, especially if you need lessons. We have a very limited number of member spots currently available.
